If you have not yet heard the artists that I have added to my "Bands" page, PRETTY PLEASE just pick a couple and give them a listen. You will not be disappointed!
Website is still a slow work in progress, but coming along....I still can't cannot find a pre-designed layout that fits me best, and know myself well enough to know that teaching myself how to create my own will take many precious hours. I haven't even made this "public" in the sense that I advertise to friends n family, just something for people to see if they happen upon a little business card of mine. Soon though. Soon it'll be ready for the world!

Hello to all artists,
I titled this post "Old Beginnings" because although this is my first attempt of any sort to promote myself formally, and so very publicly, as a career musician and educator, it is not new territory for me. As an individual who has made the conscious decision to follow her love of an artform as a career choice, like so so so so many others have done and will continue to do, there is always a necessity to advocate for the legitimacy of the trade--the path. So for many years now, I have found myself being a defender for the legitimacy of musician-by-trade in society. However, it feels very different, now that I am not just advocating for all artists everywhere, but also for myself as an individual. So please, do not mistake this website as a attempt for me to stroke my own ego, or to try and build myself up as something spectaculary wonderful and genius. I'm not. I'm a very humble musician. BUT I will be adding recordings, videos, photos, press, references, etc. along the way for projects that I've very proudly been a part of, as a way to advocate for myself and the path I have chosen. I would love to hear from you. I must find a way to put up a "guestbook"....in the mean time, please don't be shy in filling out the form on the "Contact" page, even if to just say hi...or please, make suggestions! |
